On the 8th of May, Uganda's largest newspaper NEW VISION has grandly issued her very first special project based on China-Uganda relations, “A New Era: Building partnerships and creating opportunities.”
This first issue has diversity content related closely to both countries, including book review on “Xi Jinping: The governance of China”, exclusive interview with great people, excellent works exhibition of collaborative project on writing competition “My China Story”, also but not the last, cultural exchange between 2 countries that are both with magnificent culture history and background. It is a comprehensive reflection of the fruitful achievement and good prospects of China-Uganda friendship and cooperation, a vivid portrayal of the public opinion from both countries! From now on, this special issue will be published on every second tuesday monthly.
The chief editor of New Vision, Barbara Kaija said, ‘China is an important partner of Uganda, China has contributed significantly to the economic growth in Uganda and even throughout the whole Africa. I believed that the New Era will become a platform for showing the fruitful result of China-Uganda cooperation, and build a bridge for the people to enhance understandings and friendships of each other.’
